The Motherlode Lodge offers comfortable full service accommodations' in a scenic wilderness setting. Guest may choose from our 10 guestrooms with private baths or the 4 guestroom historical suite (the original lodge) with a shared bath; all 14 guestrooms has a panoramic view of the Talkeetna Mountains. A hearty breakfast menu is offered to top off a good night's rest. Radio phone service is available at the lodge. No phones or televisions are in the rooms, which contribute to the peaceful atmosphere.
Cafe` & Full Bar Service
Our quaint has full bar service with a great selection of wines and beer on tap. We offer a unique menu offering Alaskan favorites such as Salmon and Halibut. Scheduled entertainment tops off a fun and delightful evening. The deck is a great place to take in the Mountain View, northern lights and just relax. Just off of the deck is the toasty Actic wood burning sauna . Hours of operation for the cafe and bar: Summer hours Thurs-Sunday 11:30-9pm Winter hours starting September 1st Friday 4pm-9pm, Saturday & Sunday 11:30-9pm. We cater dinner hours to groups of 10 or more 7 days a week, reservations are required.
Events & Catering
The Motherlode Lodge specializes in events and event planning. We offer full catering and meeting services for social, corporate, government meetings and events. Our facility includes two banquet rooms to choose from; The Gold Mining Room, 2,700 square foot or The Susitna Room 2,000 square foot banquet room. The lodge is a perfect setting for weddings, retreats and uninterrupted meetings. Our expert event planners offer full services in meeting planning and social events. And our audio visual service is unlimited.
Holiday celebrations
The motherlode is the ideal place to hold company Christmas parties, New Years Eve parties and company picnics. Our highly seasoned event planners will assist you in your planning from beginning to end.
